Here's What's Keeping Scott Moe Up At Night
With gaffe after gaffe and a leader nobody likes, the Saskatchewan election outcome is far from certain at this point.
In 2007 the Sask Party mocked a floundering Saskatchewan NDP for trying to connect Brad Wall to Grant Devine, who had been “gone” for fifteen years. They howled at the NDP for trotting mild-mannered Premier Calvert across the provincial countryside to announce projects he'd already announced.
It screamed "no new ideas."
Mirroring the NDP's 2007 election strategy will not work out better for Scott Moe. It’s kind of hilarious he thinks it will.
Today’s polling puts Carla Beck and the Saskatchewan NDP within attainable range of forming government. Behind the scenes right now, the Sask Party and Scott Moe are terrified they’re about to lose an election; unthinkable until very recently. It’s alleged that Moe is even afraid he’s going to lose his own riding of Rosthern-Shellbrook.
Yet we know the Sask Party has gerrymandered the province's ridings to the point that as long as its rural base shows up, they could cling to power for another four years, forever and ever. Amen.
So what's Scooter’s problem?
