Spoiler alert: I think that's pretty gross.
This is my first post here about the Humboldt Broncos bus crash and there’s going to be a lot more of them.
Today we’re just going to talk about the City of Humboldt and DCG philanthropy using the 2018 bus crash to attempt to fundraise $35-mil for itself to build a “memorial and tribute centre”.
According to this report, Humboldt is also looking for government funding from Justin Trudeau.
True Story
72 hours after the crash, on Sunday night, we delivered the globally-televised Broncos’ vigil, attended in-person by dignitaries from everywhere, including the Prime Minister.
Prior to the vigil however, on Sunday afternoon, someone from the City of Humboldt contacted Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s office and told him he was not allowed to attend.
Why?
People in Humboldt don’t like him.
The PMO called back a short time later and said ‘Yeah… we’re still coming. We need two chairs.’
Before we continue, let’s recap my connection to the Humboldt Broncos’ bus crash.
I’m one of about four of five people who truly witnessed it all from the very beginning.
