I know, two podcast releases in one day? Madness, but here we are.
Full disclosure: Cathy Sproule is one of my closest people. I’m not using “friends” or “family” because to me, she’s both. She supported me through some mind-numbingly difficult times - made me feel like a human being, when I just didn’t.
To give you an idea of her character, Cathy has traveled internationally with my kid… I don’t even like doing that. My favorite Cathy story is that she joined us for my 40th birthday party in Vegas but didn’t come to Magic Mike because she was an elected official. 😂
Now we’re definitely going to go back and do Vegas properly (she’s already gone once without me - RUDE.)
Anyway, in this episode we talked about Sproule’s longtime experience in the Legislature in Opposition, on the Legislature floor that Randy Weekes revealed to be the toxic shitfest that it is. Cathy surprised me more than a few times throughout this discussion with her candor, but that’s another reason I love her - she doesn’t take bullshit, nor does she dole it out.
